Provincial governments levy motor taxes at the time of registration and transfer and for owning locomotives such as cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles, etc. The provincial revenue departments have made their departments online to facilitate people. You can get helpful information from the websites, ask questions, and pay your vehicle tax online on these websites. If you have visited your local excise &amp; taxation department, you will know why online tax payment is a blessing. Long queues at vehicle tax counters consume all your time and energy. Moreover, getting information in such crowded offices can be extremely difficult. This includes information for the documents required for registering local\/imported vehicles, registration charges, transfer requirements &amp; charges, and other useful information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Calculating Your Charges and Taxes in Punjab<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If you want to check how much tax you have to pay, click \u201cservices\u201d on the main excise page and select \u201cOnline tax calculator for motor vehicles\u201d. You will be given three choices<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>New Registration Calculator<\/li>\n<li>Token Tax Calculator<\/li>\n<li>Transfer of Ownership Calculator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Select the option that is relevant to you and fill in the desired information. To calculate new registration charges, you need to select the following:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>Vehicle Class (Commercial\/Agriculture\/Industrial\/Personal),<\/li>\n<li>Purchase Type (Imported\/Local\/Auctioned)<\/li>\n<li>Owner Status (Company\/Private\/Public)<\/li>\n<li>Import\/Purchase Date<\/li>\n<li>Engine Size<\/li>\n<li>Seating Capacity<\/li>\n<li>Vehicle Price<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">When you fill in all this information, the calculator will provide you with the amount you need to deposit. If you need to calculate the token tax of your existing vehicle, click \u201cToken Tax Calculator\u201d and enter your car registration number to calculate. If you want to calculate transfer charges, select \u201cTransfer of Ownership Calculator\u201d, choose your vehicle type, enter your registration number, and select your tax filing status. For any vehicles registered\/to be registered in Punjab, the easiest way to generate the PSID is by using the ePAY application. It is compatible with both MAC and Android systems.<\/li>\n<li>After downloading, install it on your cellphone\/laptop.<\/li>\n<li>Register yourself on the app. You will need to enter your mobile number, name, CNIC number, and email and create a password.<\/li>\n<li>You can also enable biometric verification once your registration is complete.<\/li>\n<li>After registering, you can use the app to perform numerous functions, including calculating and paying taxes.<\/li>\n<li>Select the option you want.<\/li>\n<li>Calculate the tax.<\/li>\n<li>Generate the PSID number, note it down, or take a screenshot.<\/li>\n<li>Use your debit card and pay through your bank&#8217;s ATM, online banking through IBFT, or use your bank&#8217;s app to pay these taxes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>How to Pay Vehicles Tax\/Token Online in Sindh?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Sindh government&#8217;s excise and taxation website is also as detailed and user-friendly as Punjab&#8217;s. If your tax payments pertain to GOS (Government of Sindh), visit <a href=\"https:\/\/excise.gos.pk\/\">https:\/\/excise.gos.pk\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>From the menu banner at the top, click on \u201cTaxes\u201d and select \u201cMotor Vehicle Tax\u201d. And a new page will appear where you can read all the information you need. This includes registration fees, transfer fees, documentation, luxury taxes, penalties, and withholding tax.<\/li>\n<li>You will also find an option for \u201cTax Calculators\u201d on the website&#8217;s homepage. Click on it, and you will be given the option of calculating the tax on two and four-wheelers.<\/li>\n<li>To make all these payments, you need the PSID number, just as in the case of Punjab.<\/li>\n<li>On the main website of the Sindh govt&#8217;s excise department, you will find \u201cOnline Services\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Select \u201cQuick Online Tax Payment\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>This will take you to the \u201cQuick Pay\u201d page. You will need to enter the car registration number and your cellphone number.<\/li>\n<li>Next, click on the calculate option to calculate the tax amount.<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u201cGenerate PSID\u201d, and note down the number for payment.<\/li>\n<li>Just like in Punjab, you can use the PSID number and make the required payments in several ways. You can use ATMs, online banking, or your bank&#8217;s mobile app.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>How to Pay Vehicles Tax\/Token Online in KPK?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The KPK website can provide you with highly useful information and options. The website can be accessed at https:\/\/www.kpexcise.gov.pk\/. If you want to carry out online vehicle verification:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>Select \u201cServices\u201d from the banner menu and click on \u201cVehicle Verification\u201d by selecting the district and registration number.<\/li>\n<li>You can also select the \u201cVehicle Registration Tax Calculator\u201d in the same menu under services.<\/li>\n<li>Fill in the required information and calculate your vehicle tax.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to know your token tax, click on \u201cTaxes\u201d in the banner menu and select \u201cMotor vehicle token tax rates\u201d. You will easily find the tax rate pertaining to your vehicle.<\/li>\n<li>Other information under the \u201cTaxes\u201d menu includes motor vehicle transfer fees.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>ZAMA KP Application<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The KP government has recently launched the ZAMA KP application, which enables KP residents to generate PSID for making several types of payments, including vehicle tax.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>How to Use the ZAMA KP Application?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>To download the app, go to google playstore, search for ZAMA KP, and install the application.<\/li>\n<li>Registration is required before you could use the application. To register, enter your mobile number, and an OTP (One time password) will be sent to you on your mobile number.<\/li>\n<li>Use the OTP to proceed and make your verification pin\/password to complete the registration.<\/li>\n<li>Open the application and click on the Token Tax icon at the bottom left of the page.<\/li>\n<li>Select your district and enter your car&#8217;s registration number. Your vehicle details and tax amount will be revealed.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down and click on &#8220;Make Payment&#8221; to reveal your PSID number.<\/li>\n<li>Use your bank ATM, online banking, or bank app to make the tax payment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Online Vehicle Tax Payment in Islamabad Capital Territory<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The National IT board has developed the \u201cIslamabad City App\u201d for residents of Islamabad. The app allows you to pay your car tax online and provides other facilities such as applying for your domicile certificate, vehicle registration, international driving license, and many others. The app also allows you to verify additional information.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>International Driving Permit<\/li>\n<li>Domicile Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Vehicle Registration<\/li>\n<li>Token Tax Payment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">To use the app, you first have to download it from the Google play store. Install it after downloading and register yourself. You will need your email ID and CNIC to register. Once the registration is done, click on &#8220;Token Tax&#8221;.
